OUR 1950s TIMELINE
Year 3 looked at the decade of the 1950s during Jubilee week. We started off by looking at a timeline and finding out some important events of that decade.
JUBILEE COMMEMORATIVE PLATES
We made commemorative Jubilee plates. We thought carefully about our designs and we knew they had to be red, white and blue! Aren't they colourful and bright?
The first commercial aired in the 1950's selling tooth paste. Here are a couple of our adverts to sell our fabulous plates!

We made our own sculptures based on the work by the artist Barbra Hepworth.
We had great fun practicing our rock 'n' roll dancing!
JUBILEE DAY
We had great fun dressing up on Jubilee Day. We looked fab in our red, white and blue and 50s style clothes.
