Africa
In Year 2, we covered the continent of Africa.
We learned about human and animal life in lots of countries across the continent. We looked closely at Kenya and in particular the Masaai Mara. We found out about the impact global warming on people and animals and looked at how we can help by conserving water
Scientist Talk
We were lucky enough to speak to real scientists this week! We spoke to a paleontologist and a soil scientist who told us all about their amazing careers. We asked lots of interesting questions and learned lots of new things!
Shoebox Habitats
We looked at different animals across Africa and made our own shoebox habitats!
