The 2000's.
Welcome to the decade of the 2000's ! As part of our celebrations to celebrate the Royal Platinum Jubilee in Year 5 we have explored life in the early 2000's .
The Queen's Knickers by Nicholas Allan
Inspired by the book, "The Queen's Knickers", by Nicholas Allan we wrote and performed News reports about the missing knickers as well as designing our own jubilee pants.

The social network TheFacebook.com launched in February 2004. We decided , after conducting some research about Queen Elizabeth II we would design and create her very own Facebook Page.
YEAR 5's GOT TALENT.
The first series of British talent competition programme Britain's Got Talent was broadcast on ITV, in June 2007. We decided to hold our own talent competition with our very own Ant and Dec ( Liam and Emre). Year 5 did not disappoint with amazing and diverse performances.

JUBILEE PICNIC DAY!
We started off our day of celebrations by preparing for our picnic, making cucumber and strawberry jam sandwiches. We also created and decorated our own jubilee biscuits.
After lunch we took our took part in our own jubilee parade and played Royal Party Games including... Corgi, Corgi, Crown; Sleeping Corgi's and The Queen Says. We had a glorious afternoon to end our week long celebrations.
