Year 1
In Year 1 we have been finding out about South America for Science Week. We watched a slide show all about the fabulous places in South America, we cut out pictures and matched them to the locations on a map of the continent.
We did some research about different animals that live in South America and created a fact sheet about them.
We looked at a picture of a typical South American village in the rainforest. We had to cut pictures out and stick them in the correct places.
Do you like our designs for a house in the rainforest?
We did a Science trail along the corridor using iPads to help us. We read out the question, tried to work out the answer from the choices, then scanned the QR code to see if we were right!
