Stickbot Animation
Take a look at our fantastic Lego animations we made during our computing lesson!
We used the app Stickbot to make these, using lots of skills including creativity and teamwork.
Each one second of animation was made using 12 pictures! We had to be very patient when animating but I'm sure you will agree we did a fantastic job.

School Trip to South Shields Museum
We had a fantastic time on our school trip. We explored the different galleries and took part in an amazing workshop "Time Odyssey". We had to help a historical figure stuck in the present day find their way home by searching the museum for different artefacts, taking photos of them and creating amulets to help our character return home through a magical portal.
Harvest Festival
A huge thank you to our grown ups for coming to watch our Harvest Festival performance. We have worked so hard practicing our singing and learning our lines and special prayers.
Take a look at all of the fabulous donations!
Science - Rocks and Soils
This term we have been geologists (earth scientists) and pedologists (soil scientists)!
We have enjoyed observing and identifying a wide range of different rocks and classifying them based on observable features.
We have carried out lots of different enquiries including: finding out which rocks our Stone Age ancestors would have used for different objects linking to our history topic this term and using starburst to learn about the three different rock types of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary.
Stone Age Day
During Stone Age Day we were able to take part in lots of amazing activities! We learned how Stone Age people made fires, built tents, hunted and gathered and even made bread! We had great fun building our own shelters in teams and decorating them using items we found in nature.
We also got to hold Stone Age artefacts! We had a fantastic historical day.
Leon and The Place Between
This half term we have been reading the book "Leon and the Place Between". We have created lots of fabulous pieces of writing including poetry, persuasive speeches and our own narratives based on the story. Take a look at some of our spectacular work.
Playground Pals
Meet our Autumn Term Playground Pals!
These 10 children are responsible for helping our younger children on the yard at playtime and lunchtimes and taking care of our playtime equipment.
