Sports Day!
1NC had so much fun taking part in Sports Day! 🏅🏃 Congratulations to the winners, Red team!! 🏆
Monet's Water Lillies!
Year 1's artist of the term is Monet! We have enjoyed learning about Monet's impressionism style of painting, and have looked closely at his Water Lillies paintings. We used crayons and watercolour paint to create our own Water Lillies inspired paintings!
World Book Day!
The children had a great time dressing up for World Book Day this year! We took part in lots of book related activities and read lots of lovely books throughout the day!
Number Day!
Hello Yellow Day!
The children enjoyed taking part in Hello Yellow Day to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day. We talked about the importance of mental health and the ways in which we can support our own mental health.
Rock-pooling Trip!
1NC have had the best time on our rock-pooling trip, learning all about different types of sea creatures and marine life to support us in our Rainbow Fish topic in English. We had a great time exploring the rock pools at South Shields beach and caught some incredible sea creatures, including different kinds of fish, crabs, and even a starfish!
