We did extensive research tasting biscuits so we could design a recipe that would be delicious. We also designed our own packaging for our delicious treats.
Show Racism The Red Card.
In Year 4, we had an exciting and important workshop as part of "Show Racism the Red Card." A special guest visited our school to help us learn more about racism and how we can stand up against it. We took part in lots of activities and discussions, exploring real-life scenarios to understand the impact of discrimination. Through role-play and group work, we thought about how different situations might make people feel and how we can be allies to others. The session helped us learn the importance or respect, kindness and equality.
Santa Traps.
Using our knowledge of circuits we designed and made traps that would catch Santa delivering the presents on Christmas Eve. we had great fun making and then testing them to see if they would work. You better watch out Santa as all of our traps were a huge success! Take a look at our amazing designs.

Roman Day
Our Roman Day was an unforgettable journey back in time! We were excited to welcome a Roman visitor who brought history to life, sharing fascinating stories and answering all our questions about ancient Rome.
The day was packed with exciting activities, from recreating gladiator fights to investigating real Roman artefacts. We explored Roman clothing, weaponry and everyday objects to gain a deeper understanding of this time in history.
Together, we discussed everything we learned, bringing the world of ancient Rome into our classroom. It was a day of fun, discovery and unforgettable memories.
We also created stunning poppy water colours inspired by the poem "In Flanders Field", a WW1 poem written by John Macrae , a Canadian soldier.

Aaaarrgghh ! Spiders by Lydia Monks.
Inspired by the story "Aaaarrgghh Spider!" by Lydia Monks, we learnt the valuable lesson that you should "never judge a book by its cover"! Spiders are amazing creatures and during our exploration we discovered that spiders are our friends.
Inspired by the story we wrote in the role as the Spider, writing a thought bubble about what the spider would be thinking throughout the story.
We also created colourful information leaflets about spiders. These posters are filled with creepy, fascinating facts designed to teach others all about these amazing creatures, helping to unravel some common fears!
