World Kindness day

Today we have talked about ways we can be kind to others. We talked about our story, 'Superworm' and how the different characters were kind to each other in the story.

We have made cards for our friends and shared with our friends in our play.

"My friend is kind to me all of the time. She plays with me."

"My friends were playing with me and being kind to me. They were sharing and caring with me."

My friend is kind to me. When I feel over on my scooter the other day. She picked it up for me and made sure I was ok."

"When Superworm was captured, all the animals came to rescue to him."

"I could hold the door for a teacher."

"I play with someone when they're on their own and when everyone is playing with friends if they haven't got a friend."

After sharing the story, 'The Gruffalo', we made our own Gruffalo's by using a variety of different materials. We described the different features of the Gruffalo including his orange eyes, purple prickles, black tongue and the poisonous wart on the end of his nose!
